At Equinavia, we prioritize the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Ensuring every rider has a functional, undamaged helmet is critical to our commitment to safety. Our Helmet Replacement Program reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest rider protection and service standards.

 

Safety First: An impacted helmet compromises its ability to protect effectively. Equinavia suggests replacing any helmet that might be affected, even if the damage is not visible.

 

  • Post-Impact Replacement: Helmets should be replaced immediately after any significant impact, even without visible damage. 

    • Visible Damage: Any helmet with visible cracks, dents, or deformation should be replaced, as these can indicate structural weaknesses.

    • No Visible Damage: If the helmet has absorbed an impact, its protective capabilities may be diminished and should be replaced.

  • Regular Replacement: Helmets should be replaced every 3-5 years regardless of impact due to material degradation over time.

 

Customer Trust: We believe in fostering trust and long-term customer relationships. Providing a clear and generous replacement policy demonstrates our commitment to your well-being and satisfaction.

 

Quality Assurance: By requiring the destruction of damaged helmets, we ensure they are removed from circulation, preventing potential future use and allowing us to inspect and understand the nature of the damages for continuous product improvement.

 

Environmental Responsibility: Allowing the field destruction of unreturned helmets helps manage waste responsibly and ensures that only helmets in good condition are used.

 

Eligibility

This policy applies to helmets purchased from Equinavia or an authorized Equinavia helmet dealer.

Replacement Discount

Customers receive a 50% discount on the current retail price of the same helmet model or an equivalent style available at the time of replacement.

Claim Process

To claim the discount, customers must provide proof of purchase and details of the incident that necessitated the replacement. 

Conditions

This policy covers helmets damaged due to crashes or impacts during regular use.

Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, damage due to misuse, or material degradation over time are not covered.

Shipping and handling fee $12

Limitations

The replacement discount is valid for one claim per helmet.

This policy only extends up to 2 years from the original purchase date.
